Magic Board School is a pioneering educational institution situated in Nazirartek, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Established in 2023, the school is founded by a dedicated team of volunteers to address the need for accessible, elementary education among underprivileged children.
Bangladesh is host to a population of 170+ million , of whom 33% are children . The impacts of climate change will displace one in seven people in Bangladesh by 2051, thus it is imperative that governments incorporate climate migration into national development plans and policies . In addition, it is essential that we invest in education for displaced children .
Quality Education and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 – Climate Action, our curriculum focuses on “Connecting Climate Education with Pre-Primary School Subjects” to provide an interdisciplinary and enriching learning experience for young learners. By integrating climate education and awareness into various subjects, we aim to nurture children’s curiosity, critical thinking skills, and a sense of responsibility towards the environment and the climate from an early age.”
